For more than 35 years, Hope Ministries has helped change the lives of hundreds of people in the greater-Barrington area. By providing food, housing, transportation and utility assistance, clients are able to make their way back to self-sufficiency.

Barrington’s Saint Anne Catholic Community’s Hope Ministries is the parent ministry of House of Hope Resale Shop, Project Hope, Hope Chest Food Pantry and Mobile food Pantry. Together, with its community programs Caring and Sharing and Grants of Hope, Hope Ministries is able to extend its mission to help the poor, marginalized and disenfranchised throughout the Barrington area.

House of Hope Resale Shop

Hope Ministries owns and operates an upscale resale shop, House of Hope Resale. The shop offers the value hunter a boutique-like experience with the best selection of reasonably priced clothing, furniture, collectibles, vintage items and more, with new arrivals daily.

All customer purchases directly help local families in crisis in our community. The store has five paid employees with the bulk of the operations completed by volunteers.

Project Hope

Project Hope provides outreach on behalf of Hope Ministries to those needing financial assistance for housing, transportation, utilities or medical support.
